@Raj Kumar- Thanks for the info. Hadn’t herd of the Saas-Bahu Mandir.

Just looked it up : A 9th Century shrine, Saas-Bahu temple are not dedicated to Sas (mother-in-law) and Bahu (daughter-in-law) but rather the short form of Shashtra Bahu, another name of Lord Vishnu.

Actually I’m just trying to recall all my old friends. I uee to study in Army school Mhow. Have done my class 4,5, and 6th I think from there only. Year maybee 1992-1995

Some of my friends that time were Swati, Kabir, Zubin, Monica, Ravi and Neeraj. If anyone there please get back to me.

Nice post di… and i remember MHOW too.. u forgot to mention the brilliant College of Combat Library.. i loved that place.. my first ever job.. hehe… and of course.. the school…

Oh I have fond memories of MHOW too..I think Dad was doing his HC/SC there..and I have worn a lot of those smocked dresses :)

Of course, Army School is one thing I do remember… esp our hindi teacher .. Ms Joshi or something remember??
and the ‘Sun Down Sleeves Down’ written in the corridors …

Really nice blog. Brought a lot of childhood memories….was born there and have spent almost 9 years there.

And yes do remember the leather horses & all the smoking dresses I wore :-)

Yeah… i think we were there for a bit when I was tiny… don’t remember a thing either! But yeah, i do remember the different height leather horses that we had! :)
